MORNING CANTICLE (Henry)

Yesterday we saw the Saturday
Horror movie matinee
And today Sunday we pray
It always turns out the same in the end
The shepherd gets it in the end
The gorgeous girl, not a scratch nor a dent
The monster on the cross repents
And sends his best
In spite of his hideous face
So I thought:
If that's what they do to the enemy
If I got caught<
What would the enemy do to me

Yesterday we saw the Saturday
Horror movie matinee
And today Sunday we pray
